8/700bc-100bc | A settlement enclosure with palisade trenches, enclosure ditches, round houses, pits and postholes. The main enclosure ditch 00 had in its northern butt end J much deliberately cast in material including animal bones, pottery and human bone. These included fragments from the calvarium of an adult, probably young (in section I, layer 1104/105), most of the frontal and small cranial fragments from a probable adult (in section J, layer 1160/157), and part of an adult male left femur (in section J, layer 1152).
