2500bc-14/1300bc | A stone cairn covered a cist containing a large biconical collared urn with a cremation of a young male or a female. The collar was decorated with a corded chevron band and two bands of circles, each band separated by a double line incision. The cairn was very large, and the cist was sunk into the ground, comprising a slab floor, 4 slab walls and a covering of two capstones set one on the other. The urn was upright in the centre of the cist, and surrounded by burnt soil packing. |
