8/700bc-100bc | An extensive settlement with an occupation layer containing a stratified sequence from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age. Three fragments from the skulls of three individuals and a tooth were found during excavation, but were not precisely located in the report, whose author commented that 'these fit into the picture of the general scatter of odd human remains often found on Iron Age sites in southern England'. |
