8/700bc-100bc A uni-vallate hill fort of c6 acres. On Site A at the rear of the rampart chalk rubble sealed an old surface on which lay much pottery and bone including some human skull fragments believed contemporary with the defences. On Site G at the entrance was a hearth surrounded by a scatter of pottery, and nearby were three fragments of human skull. Pottery evidence dates the fort to the Early Iron Age, perhaps c6th Century BC.

In all, 13 fragments of human bone were found on the site, all adult. They were: Site A IV (1) an adult femur shaft fragment, VII (4) a radius fragment, VIII 16 PH 2 phalanges, XIV (5) an occipital fragment, XVII (3) a worn molar, Site G III (6) 7 skull fragments.
