100bc-AD43 | Two skeletons were found during trenching operations, the second lying crouched on the right side, oriented W, and having in association a bead-rim pottery vessel by the head, hob-nails by the feet, a bronze needle and pottery sherds in the grave filling. The first skeleton was of the second half of the 1st Century AD (a plate brooch dated this). |
