2500bc-14/1300bc A round barrow with ditch and a mound of chalk rubble, loamy soil and flints. In the mound was the only dating evidence found, a sherd of collared urn of Middle Bronze Age date. A flint capping topped the mound itself. It was built over a central cremation pit c0.4m square, robbed but still containing some small fragments of cremated bones and charcoal. Two later cremation deposits had been inserted into the central area of the barrow.
