14/1300bc-8/700bc | A bowl barrow with a central primary(?) deposit of burnt bones with a large quantity of ashes c1.2m in diameter c0.9m high, the remains of a funeral pyre. Above this was the skeleton of a dog, and just above the dog, a Middle Bronze Age/Late Bronze Age hybrid 'Cornish' handled urn, probably upright, containing a secondary deposit of burnt bones. |
