2500bc-14/1300bc A bowl barrow with at the centre post holes and other features suggesting the traces of a wooden platform on which the body had rested for the flesh to decay. Beneath this structure a burial pit had been dug and a large collared urn put in it. The urn had been deliberately smashed and the cremated remains deposited on top. The uprights of the platform were left in position.

On the west side of the mound three pits were found, one containing earth and a few chips of cremated bone, one charcoal, and the third some carefully packed sherds of a small collared urn.
