2500bc-14/1300bc | Four or possibly five ring ditches in an EW alignment over c120m. Between ring ditches 3 and 4 were two shallow pits c3.5m apart containing cremations, one of an adult accompanied by fragments of one vessel of Middle Bronze Age date, both components evenly distributed through the pit fill. The other contained just the cremated bone from one adult. No cremation represented a complete body. |
