2500bc-14/1300bc A double post circle enclosed ring ditch OGD3 (A37) from which a double post avenue led due south to the small ring ditch OGD4 c65m away. No datable finds were made in the former, but the latter contained an upright urned secondary cremation near the south east edge of the mound of Middle Bronze Age date. A well stratified transverse arrow head found in the ditch suggested a possible Late Neolithic date for the building of the monument. The avenue was laid out at right angles to the Cursus, and aligned on a round barrow c300m to the north.
