2500bc-14/1300bc | A small oval turf mound 3m x 4m with a stone kerb retaining the body of the monument, a dark mixed soil. Off centre was a shallow scoop and a pit, each containing charcoal. The mound was built on the original land surface. It contained no human skeletal material although the soil favoured survival RC: from the pit HAR-2221 1400 +/- 70, from the scoop HAR-2285 1450 +/- 90 |
