2500bc-14/1300bc | Round barrow enclosed by a ditch. At the centre was a pit 0.75m in diameter and 25cm deep, containing fragments of burnt wattle marked daub, 3 fragments of burnt bones, an ox tooth, several burnt unworked flint flakes and a few sherds of two Bi Beakers. Near the pit was an oblong depression dug and refilled. No primary interment was found. There was a secondary crouched skeleton without grave goods in the ditch on the north side, undated. |
