3500bc - 2500bc A long barrow oriented E. The south chamber was approached by a short passage with 3 steps and a porthole entrance, and contained burnt and unburnt human and animal bone on the floor, and pottery. Human skeletal material and 2 bone pendants were found in a grave in the floor of this chamber.

In the north chamber (approached by a short passage and 3 steps, and also with a porthole entrance) were 13 probably crouched skeletons, 6-7 male, 3-4 female and 3 children of age c2, 3, and 12. Markings existed on Orthostat No 2. No paved floor was in evidence. There was some charring of the human bone. 4 of the male skulls (men c20-50) appeared to have been cleft.

Traces of fire were discovered at the entrance, and bones of horse, oxen, and boar tusks at or beneath the trilith. There were also 2 flint leaf arrow heads with their tips missing (one found in the south chamber). A new chamber with human skeletal material was found in 1988 and left unexcavated.
