2500bc-14/1300bc | A round barrow with a (?)primary cremation possibly without ashes in the centre and a black flint scraper nearby. 0.6m above were two secondary cremations, the first beneath an inverted urn placed on a slab of stone c5cm thick. To the west was the second cremation possibly associated with a sword c0.9m long, this last found 40 years before. The mound was composed of alternate layers of grey and black material, and had an outer retaining wall 0.6m high. |
