14/1300bc-8/700bc | A group of 4 barrel urns buried in sand about 0.9m apart with No 2 central, standing on a sandstone slab, covered by a fragment of the same slab and containing 3 small accessory vessels. Urns 1 and 2 contained cremations of a female c20, and of another of middle age. It was supposed that these were originally covered by a mound, without evidence. |
