2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow with two dog skeletons deposited near the top of the mound. There was a central primary pit 1.5m x 1.2m x 0.75m deep containing two inhumations oriented NS, with at their feet a type A Beaker. There were inhumations of 6 more bodies above these and secondary, 2 of them of young persons lying almost side by side. A tertiary cremation in an inverted urn set in a cutting into the side of the original pit rested in the lap of one of the secondary inhumations. |
