2500bc-14/1300bc A bowl barrow with a large bed of wood ash on the barrow floor 2.4m in diameter and 15cm thick. In this were large pieces of charcoal and some small fragments of burnt human bone. On the north side of the ash bed was an incense cup, decorated with two bands and with an overhanging inside rim. The mound contained pottery of Beaker, Peterborough and grooved ware.
