2500bc-14/1300bc | A twin bell barrow. The north north west mound contained a large primary (?) cremation. The south south east mound contained a primary cremation set on the barrow floor and placed in a wooden tree trunk chest 1.8m x 0.9m. Accompanying the cremation was a broken pygmy cup, a dagger in a sheath wrapped in cloth (traces of both remained), and a large bronze pin with double ringed head, each ring with a further loose ring attached. |
