2500bc-14/1300bc | An inverted collared urn buried in a hole dug in gravel. The urn was filled with clean cremated bone packed in clean sand without any ash, the mouth filled with earth containing a small amount of charcoal. Some burnt bones were deposited 15cm above the inverted base. The bones were of a female (?), youngish, and a child, and a frontal fragment of another cranium. It was suggested that the cremation site had been used for other cremations. |
