3500bc - 2500bc | An oval barrow oriented SE/NW. In the centre was a circle of skulls each placed on a flat stone. Inside the ring were bundles of long bones. One skull contained some ribs and a few smaller bones. Further to the south east was another circle of human skulls and bundles of long bones, but these were smaller and less numerous. Generally the material contained very few vertebrae, only a few ribs and no small bones. One female hip bone had a black flint arrow head in association. |
