2500bc-14/1300bc | A bell barrow with an entrance causeway through the ditch. From the upper mound came unburnt fragments of human bone and scattered in the material of the lower mound were a few indeterminate sherds of Beaker pottery, two finely worked flint saws, and other flint implements which showed evidence of burning. |
14/1300bc-8/700bc | 14 or 15 urns of 'coarse gritty ware' containing ashes and bones were found 15cm below the surface near The Windmill, probably an urnfield of the Late Bronze Age. |
