2500bc-14/1300bc | A bowl barrow with mound of sand and flint pebbles covered by a layer of peaty mould mixed with some sand. About 1m to the south of the mound centre was found a complete cinerary urn inverted over a poorly cremated burial, being the remains of a female c40 or older. There were three burnt areas. Burnt material and charcoal surrounded the urn. A large number of flints were recovered from the barrow. |
