2500bc-14/1300bc | A bell barrow with ditch with a berm and a (later?) flint kerb surviving on the berm. The mound was of ditch material, clay with a chalk capping, and possibly a casing of flint nodules of varying depth. There was a central cremation in a flint lined cist, possibly accompanied by a collared urn. There were cremations to the north and west, and possibly to the south, forming secondary or satellite burials. |
