Narimankand (234) excavation plan
This was a cemetery of four widely spaced burials accompanied by a variety of grave goods. The material was all found in the BTC trench line in 2004. During 2005 the SCP trench line was carefully opened by an excavator with a toothless bucket, but no burials were located there.
The material is interpreted as being of the developed Iron Age period, i.e., the 5th-6th centuries BC.
