The settore is located in the front of the northernmost taberna, between settore I to the south and settore IV to the west (Figure 34). The work in this area, conducted on 10 July 1976, was limited to a surface cleaning and measurements. The excavation, which was intended to reach the access stairs documented in the cutting within the northern face of settore I, was never carried out (AFSRCM, S. Omobono, b. 31, 1, c. 4051.123).
