Description: Very unusual piece. Seated woman holds round object in palm of outstretched left hand. Seated in a large chair with footstool. Quite coarse folds of drapery. Sash tied around waist. Very coarse thick drapery folds. Head tilted forward slightly. Small found face with slit mouth, eyes incised with central raised pupil, left higher than right. Hair braided around forehead and head covered with veil.
