Description: Not Roman. Etruscan kore. Standing with left arm bent and hand on hip, sinuous torsoe, right arm straight with the hand placed along the side of the thigh. Face worn and features barely visible. Hair long at the back. Although a simple piece the fingers of the hands are depicted. The feet are indicated only by a slight thickening at the end of the legs. Below the feet is a short projection ending in a knob. The hands are holding drapery across the back of the legs. It extends from midway down the buttocks to the feet. Fairly flat profile.
