Description: The figurine is especially well made, both in overall form and in the details of the face, musculature and drapery. Furthermore it is complete and in good condition, revealing considerable wear, probably from handling by generation after generation of suppliants. . . The upper torso is bare, revealing a finely-rendered, strong musculature, as befitted a god of health. From the left shoulder falls the ankle-length travellers cloak, characteristic of Asklepios, its folds of drapery faithfully translated into bronze (Jackson)
