Description | Uncertain id. Stands with left leg slightly bent to rear, foot angled, weight on right leg. Hands held out in front of body with perforations to hold attributes side to side rather than top to bottom as usual. Incised fingers but hands simple stumps. Pleated skirt with tunic and possible jacket which opens to the rear (moulding at waisted front and sides which then rises up the back to the neck). Short parallel, vertical incisions just below the jacket moulding. Deep eye sockets for insets, broad nose, moulded mouth. Beard depicted by small dimples around the jawline. Moulded knobs for hair around the face. Possibly wears a conical cap. |
