Description | Despite their surfaces being worn, each side retains sufficient ornament, from the original casting to show that the animal had been portrayed with a shaggy coat. Two transverse grooves emphasize the shape of the head, but the face is otherwise featureless. The straight horns which rise above are divided by a shallow vertical line that lies slightly off-centre (Dix). |
