Description | elaborate, peaked hairstyle that is drawn into a high bun at the back of the head. The woman wears a loose sleeveless stola draped with two folds at the neck indicated by simple lines at the back. There is a tuck at the waist and the garment then falls in full folds to the feet. . . The back of the figure is concave and without decoration excepting the head and three vertical lines to indicate garment folds (Birley). |
