Description | Nicely executed piece, detailed. Stands with weight on right leg, left slightly bent with heel raised, fingers and toes depicted. Left arm bent at elbow, hand curled to hold missing caduceus. Muscled torso and legs but there is a groove down the back. Finely featured face with hair curls framing face. The top and back of the head is 'cap' hair. Small head wings. Head tilted to the right. Drapery over left shoulder and forearm in a narrow strip. Small slit mouth, fine narrow, long nose with quite heavy brows. |
