Ultimately, this will include a URL for images. As it stands, the information is a reference to an image file.
Provide references for the information supplied
Specify the number of fragments associated with this data record. If the artefact is whole, put value 1 and specify "whole artefact" for Data Property "type_of_fragments"
Specify what the date range is based on (e.g. Form_Type, Potter, context Date)
Specify the type of fragments of the artefact are present (wall sherds, rim sherds, whole artefacts etc.)
The unique indication of each Archaeolical Context is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Context number. The Catalogue number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Context_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
The unique indication of each Artefact (or Artefact record) is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Catalogue number. The Catalogue number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Catalogue_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
The unique indication of each Building is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Building number. The Building number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Building_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
The unique indication of each Building Phase is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Building Phase number. The Building Phase number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Building_Phase_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
Complex is the name given to a group of Buildings or top-level Structures that are considered to be related. Areas within a site (e.g. an insula in a town, or the praetentura in a fort) could be Complexes.
The unique indication of each Complex is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Complex number. The Complex number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Complex_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
Instances of Coordinate have the site name as a prefix, making the use of non-georeferenced data possible. Coordinates themselves can be specified as Data properties.
The Date Range is given by specifying Start Date and End Date of the range in the Data Properties.
When instances of Dragendorff are used for artefacts that do not have the the Form_Type Terra_Sigillata, then it concerns an imitation of said Dragendorff type.
The Form_Label is the interpretative label that is given to the shape of the vessel. In lieu of standardised terminology or -metrices, the label is given in the language in which it was originally analysed.
Form_Type is the class of typologies. It is ordered by material, separating out typologies for ease of reference.
Function is the interpretative label sorting artefacts into activity categories.
This class allows information regarding inscriptions to be stored in the associated Data Properties.
Akin to both Form_Label and Form_Type, Latin_Descriptive_Labels are indications of form. As interpretative labels are easily taken for granted, especially when in Latin, these labels are listed separately here.
Contains information on the maker (individuals or specific groups) that made the artefact.
Contains information about the material out of which the artefact was made.
Pertains to information on the place where the artefact was made. It is ordered by material.
The name of the site which the data come from.
The unique indication of each Site Phase is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Site Phase number. The Site Phase number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Site_Phase_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
Structure is the name given to a group of archaeological contexts that are considered to be related. Rooms or wings of a building could be structures, but so could a street. Structures can be top-level entities or together can make up a building. In the latter case they will be related to this building in the ontology as well.
The unique indication of each Structure is comprised of the Site_Name followed by an underscore and then the Structure number. The Structure number is also stored as a Data Property (has_Structure_Number), this time without the Site_Name preceding it.
