Pre-house activity: Earliest structure an incomplete slot around the platform, possibly a large timber structure c. 11m diameter. This proceeds the three stakebuilt phases
After use: Rebuilt in phase 2 and three, phasing of internal features unclear. Burnt stone dump to S spread over area, was inside houses?
Notes:all phases associated with ironworking, furnaces 250mm-300mm diameter, facing entrance. Postholes and beamslot in entrance, paved entrance passage. Stone 'hood' not associated with phase. Iron ore dump inside on N side. Some zoning but hard to attribute to a particular house.
