Interpretation comments | Area A with three ring ditches (IA radiocarbon), area B with palisaded enclosure, four posters, pits and postholes. Roundhouses only possible entrance postholes, 2 at NE and 4 at NW (no rel. here with trench). Pits 44 and 45 could be house door. 144 and 145 outside enclsoure could be house door. Many pits with Neolithic ceramics, environmental remains. Could be IA enclosure, 4 poster and houses and Neo earlier activity, or a Neolithic enclosure. |
