6.2.2 Type B.2

Most of the Type B establishments used two rooms, 12 examples of which are known. This predilection for two-room shops has been remarked on already (see the description of Type A.2 in section 6.1.3). Three of this type retained access to a house (B.2.H); two of these were connected to the Casa di M. Loreius Tiburtinus at II.2.2. The smallest Type B.2 property was at VII.2.26 (20m²), the largest at VI.4.8-9 (59m²). The average size was 42m².
