The analyses undertaken in Sections 2 and 3 are based on data supplied by two publicly available online databases, the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) records dated AD 700-1100, and the Early Medieval Corpus (EMC), held by the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. Data downloads were harvested directly from each organisation, and included all data appropriate to the requirements of the project.
