Description |
Found near Penycorddyn hillfort. Left hand damaged, may have held caduceus. Crudely depicted musculature with grooves under pectorals, a V at the collarbone and dimple between. Rather bulbous calves with very small feet. Back groove, top of thighs joined. Facial features not properly cast- no mouth or nose, 2 small dimples very close together for eyes. Cap petasos fitted to head with fairly small wings on top. Hair under cap - straight grooves around back of head, curly around face. Stands with weight on right leg, left slightly bent. |
