Description | Copper-alloy figurine in the shape of a bird with wings outstretched, neck extended and head turned to the left. Lines have been incised all over it to indicate feathers. Lumps on the underside suggest legs or may originally have been to enable it to be mounted on something else. The figurine is very worn so it is not easy to suggest what type of bird it is meant to be. Perhaps a votive object or mount from another item (PAS). |
