Description | Located between E1 and E2 on the cadastrals. Appears to be used as signifier or landmark to cadastral mappers. The weir is two tiered, and overgrown with bamboo reeds. The flow of water down the main river bed has been blocked and a stagnant green pond has formed. All the water flows into the 'koftousa' which is a well maintained cemented canal. From somewhere along the koftousa canal there is a black water pipe taking water down to the 'Karidi' weir which is close by. The plastic pipe is used instead of an open canal. |
