In the following field seasons we will continue to extract and digitise information from the legacy data, cataloguing the finds and reconstructing the individual trench excavations with as much detail as possible in order to reconnect the artefactual and architectural evidence. In addition, limited and targeted excavations will test our understanding of the previously uncovered areas while geophysical prospection will potentially outline the extent of the site and the limits of each building. This will be of particular importance as no complete building is yet exposed in the excavated area (Figure 39). We might then hope to satisfy our ultimate aim of understanding not only the use and development of this part of the sanctuary, but also the roles these spaces played in the operation of the Panhellenic sanctuary at Isthmia.
