4.4.23 Firle, East Sussex

The village of Firle is situated south-east of Lewes. There is a known Anglo-Saxon cemetery, comprising a cluster of around twelve barrow inhumations. The VASLE dataset is derived from the PAS and the EMC, but the location of the possible 'productive site' is not known.
