The author feels reasonably happy that this article addressed its aims: that of gaining a better understanding of the later Neolithic Avebury region, and of demonstrating how digital modelling can benefit a phenomenological approach. Although the overall interpretation of the journey through the Avebury complex (see 4.1 ) may be criticised, the article has at least demonstrated that this approach has discovered new views and relationships between aspects of the landscape that were previously unknown.
