10. The exterior is decorated with a narrow cordon at the inflexion of the wall and with a graffiti zig-zag between two parallel horizontal lines at the lip.

The decoration is unusual for cups and the shape suggests a date in the first quarter of the 6th century (Rasmussen 1979, 120), cf. Rasmussen cup 3b. The vessel could also possibly be a sherd of kyathos Rasmussen (4b) similar to examples published from Vulci (Rizzo 1990, 98 Nos.36-7) dated to the mid 6th century. D. 130mm.
