8.5.6 Toilet Articles

A possible ear scoop [866] was found in a demolition layer associated with the Church. It was manufactured from a cut sheet, tapered at the handle end and has a small scoop at the other end.

A bone plate [396] from a West Range layer (A4) may be a comb blank. No other fragments of comb or other toilet items were found during the excavation.
