PathologyDistal tip of fibula detached from main portion of bone, 'fracture' line clean and neatly horizontal, no evidence of resporptive changes, differential diagnoses include ununited fracture or atypical, unfused epiphysis; enthesopathies of distal fibula, 5th metatarsals and calcaneii (into Achilles tendon); minor degenerative change.
