In this section I will present an assessment of the models and discuss the ways in which they can be used to improve interpretations and communication to a variety of audiences. As I hope to show, 3-D computer-based modelling has too much potential to be restricted to inserting 'eye candy' into public presentations and can be used as an effective tool for the formulation and dissemination of archaeological interpretations, as well as the illustration of very specific concepts and situations.
