A bone die [402] was found in AAP (Phase 5b), the foundation trench of the west wall of the west range of the friary.

A body fragment from local medieval ceramic vessel [859] (Phase 1, A644 infilling of watercourse ALUA) had been fashioned into rounded counter, possibly for use during game playing.

8.9.1 Musical Instrument

Part of a bone whistle [1670] was found in a burial soil (J209). Length 44mm.
